How to Archive a Project

At times you may find that you have a project that you no longer want to continue to analyze and have present on the Project List screen. Rather than deleting the project, Ion Channel provides the ability to archive it. This allows you to preserve the analysis history.

A project can be archived from the Project List page or the Project Settings page using these steps:

From the Project List page:

1. Check the box for the project(s) which you would like to archive.
2. From the Actions dropdown menu, select Archive.
3. Confirm the action.

From the Project Settings page:

1. From the Project List page, click on the project which you would like to archive.
2. On the Project Analysis Dashboard, hover your mouse cursor over the wrench iconand select Settings.
3. On the Project Settings page, uncheck the box labeled Active and Save the changes.

These steps will result in the project being moved into an archived state. These projects will no longer be eligible for analysis or monitoring and will not be present in the project list page's default view. Selecting Archived projects from the Project List Page's filter will allow you to view any archived projects.
