Article Summary

The Project List page is the first page you will see when you log in to the Ion Channel console. This is where you will find all of your projects along with the high-level analysis data for each project. At a glance, this page will quickly inform you of any projects that are failing their most recent analysis and allow you to select each project to get the detailed information that is presented on the Project Analysis Dashboard.

By default, all active projects are displayed and ordered with projects in a Failing status first. The types of projects that are displayed and the order in which they appear can be adjusted with the filter, sort, and search functions.

Project List Navigation:

  1. Team Selector: This is the current team's projects that you are viewing. If you are a member of more than one team, you may switch to your other teams here.
  2. Add a Project: Selecting the plus icon will take you to the Project Creation page. This page is also accessible via the hamburger menuin the upper-right corner.
  3. Project Statuses: Each tab will provide you a count of how many projects exist in each status. Possible statuses include Passing, Failing, Errored, and Analyzing. Selecting any of these tabs will filter the list of projects to only those in that particular status.
  4. Actions: The actions button becomes available when one or more projects have been selected. Several different actions can be performed on the selected projects from this menu. These include Analyze, Change Rulesets, Monitor/Disable Monitoring, Archive/Activate, and Export Data. More information on bulk actions can be found here.
  5. Sort By: This allows you to change the order that the projects are displayed. The default is to sort projects by their status. Other sort options include alphabetical, project age, ruleset, and analysis age.
  6. Filter By: This allows you to choose which projects are displayed. Projects can be filtered by status, applied ruleset, and whether a project is active or not.
  7. Search: Select the magnifying glass icon to display the search field. As you type, the projects displayed will be filtered by those that match the search term. Only projects currently displayed in the filtered results will be included in the search results.
  8. Project Selector: Selecting a box will result in the Actions menu becoming available. Any project that has the box selected will have the action applied to those projects when applicable.
  9. Project List: Displays all projects that match your filter criteria in the sort order specified. Each project will display its name, status when the last analysis occurred, when the project was created, and the ruleset applied to the latest analysis.
