The Team Administration page is the place to go to manage everything related to any of your teams. This includes managing the team members, adding your default SSH private key, updating team details, and obtaining your team ID. The available functions on this page depend on your team role (member or administrator).
Contact us at support@ionchannel.io if your organization would like to have additional teams created to help organize your product portfolios.
Navigation: Select Teams from the user drop-down menu in the upper right corner, then select the desired team from the list to view and edit that team's details.
Available functions:
- Invite New Members: Team administrators can add new members to a team by selecting the Add Member button and entering the new member's email address.
- Edit Team Details and Member Roles: Team administrators may select Edit Team/Members to add or change the default SSH private key, team name, point of contact, and point of contact email. In addition, member's roles can be changed from member to admin and vice versa. The SSH private key provided on this page will be used for any private GitHub repository that has not had a key entered at the project level.
- Team ID: By clicking on the Copy Team ID button, you may copy this team's ID. A team ID is most commonly needed for the API and command-line tools such as Ion Connect and Ionize.
- Resend a team invitation email: If an invitation was previously sent but has not yet been accepted, a new email invitation can be sent via the Reinvite button. Clicking this button will also copy a link to your clipboard, which can be used to activate this account.
- Remove Members: Team administrators can remove existing and pending members from the team by selecting the Remove button. That member will immediately lose access to the team the next time they navigate to a new page.
- Leave Team: Members or administrators can remove themselves from a team by selecting the Leave button. This option will not be available if you are the only team administrator.
