How to create an API Token

An API token is often required to interact with the Ion Channel API and Ion Connect and Ionize CLI tools. Obtaining a token can be accomplished through the Ion Channel console using the following steps:

1. Log in to the Ion Channel console.
2. Select User Settings from the user drop-down menu in the upper right corner.
3. Select the Add Token button.
4. Provide a name for the token and select the Save button.
5. Copy the token and save it somewhere safe. It will not be shown again once that screen has been dismissed.
